H2L Cycling Instructors
The Facts: Adam Castner is a Schwinn Certified cycling instructor at H2L Studio. He works as an employee benefits consultant (Insurance Broker for employers). He lives in Mechanicsburg with his wife and 2 children.
His History: Adam spent his early years heavily involved in football and wrestling in the Mechanicsburg school system. He then attended Bloomsburg University where he wrestled on their D1 program and also met the love of his life (Charity Castner – Yoga instructor at H2L). After college, there was a major gap in consistent exercise in Adam’s life. His wife signed him up for our 2016 Cycle Relay benefiting MASH Mini-THON and he was compelled to go to cycling classes so as not to keel over and/or highly embarrass himself. However, after a few classes, he fell in love with the indoor cycling classes. In less than a year he decided he wanted to get certified and help teach and encourage others in this fun and challenging activity.
“I tell people all the time now that there are so many positive aspects to indoor cycling and specifically with the H2L system that you need to check it out (3 times at least). It is a plug and play model, you don’t need a partner, you don’t need equipment, there is no program you have to worry about or track and, most importantly, you don’t need to be at a particular fitness level to do this activity. You just show up, sit on the bike, and work as hard as you can. There is a great level of energy and adrenaline to help keep you focused and working hard. The instructors guide everyone through the class, encouraging you, as well as, instructing. The nice part is, if you’re unable to perform at a high level, it’s ok, as long as you are working hard for YOU and pushing yourself you will see results and have a great experience. Furthermore, with the H2L system you can see your cycling statistics, not only as you go, but immediately after class, they are sent to you. So, you have the data on your ride without doing anything but showing up and working. Try that in a traditional gym! I have lost 20 pounds, in less than a year, simply by going to this studio 3 times a week and pushing myself.”
What to Expect: Through Adam’s class you will be challenged and encouraged. He will help you to dig deep and find a little more effort to give. Musically, there will be a diverse mix of songs to accompany the journey and enhance the class. The goal is to help you walk away having worked harder than you thought you could work while having a great time doing it.

The Facts: Adrienne Wickwire teaches Cycling, Cycle + Bootcamp, and Barefoot HIT classes at H2L Studio. She is a licensed physical therapist and has been a fitness instructor for 10+ years. She is a certified Schwinn Indoor Cycling Instructor.
Guilty Pleasure: Macarons and a glass of champagne
The Facts: Ariel Hilsinger currently teaches cycling and combo classes, tabatas express classes and TRX classes here at H2L studio. She’s certified as an ACE group exercise instructor, Schwinn cycling instructor, and TRX suspension training instructor.
Her History: Her passion for fitness began in childhood with a love for soccer and basketball, which she played throughout school. She moved on to get her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from High Point University in 2014 and her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Elon University in 2017. She started taking various group exercise classes while living in North Carolina. After returning home to Pennsylvania, she began attending barre, HIT, and cycling classes at H2L and found a new passion. She loves the combination of intensity and fun that the classes offer, and wishes to share that with all of the clients at H2L. When she isn’t working as a Physician Assistant, running her own skincare business with Rodan and Fields, or teaching at H2L, you can find her spending time with friends and family, having game nights, traveling the world with her husband, Mackenzie, or spending time with her 3 cats: Aria, Luna, and Nala.
What to Expect: During a class with Ariel, you can expect to push yourself to the next level while jamming to a variety of today’s and yesterday’s hits, remixes, and new songs that will pump you up.

The Facts: Cami Bangs teaches Cycling classes here at H2L Studio. She’s certified in Schwinn Indoor Cycling and in TRX.
Her History: As an avid runner, Cami began taking cycling classes several years ago to mix up her fitness routine and enhance her running performance. Cycling made her a faster, stronger runner and broke up the boredom of just running. Cami’s love of cycling eventually led her to become a certified instructor and share her enthusiasm with others. In addition to running local races and teaching cycling classes, she enjoys spending time with her husband Jon, daughter Lucy and two dogs – Lou and Henry.

The Facts: Caitlin Taylor teaches cycling classes at H2L Studio. She is certified in Schwinn Indoor Cycling. She also teaches Barre and is certified in the Barre Above method.
The Facts: Courtney Farinelli teaches Barre, Cycling, and Cycle+Sculpt classes here at H2L Studio. She’s certified in the Ballet Barre Method, Inline Barre, Balanced Body Mat Pilates and Schwinn Cycling. She is a master trainer in Barre Intensity and a certified TRX trainer. She has also attended conferences and workshops to keep up with trends and expand her fitness knowledge. She lives in Mechanicsburg with her husband and daughter.
Her History: She graduated from Penn State in 2013 with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology. Her love of health and fitness began with running, picking up Pilates, Yoga, and Barre on her cross-training days. She fell in love with the methods and started practicing daily. Now, she enjoys sharing that passion with others. When she isn’t working in marketing or teaching here, she’s spending time with family and friends.
What to Expect:
During Courtney’s class, you can expect to hear a variety of pop music while pushing yourself to beat your power or go a little faster. She loves power work.

The Facts: Christina Stada teaches Cycling, Cycling/Sculpt, Cycle/Core and Barre classes at H2L. She is a certified Schwinn indoor cycling instructor, TRX Suspension Training, and a Barre Above certified Barre Instructor.
Her History: Christina’s love of exercise and overall fitness started at a very young age. Soccer was her passion early on and she played up until attending college at the University of Pittsburgh. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Psychology. While attending college she enjoyed playing intramural sports and became an avid runner. She was always looking for the next high-intensity workout! She started cycling over 12 years ago as a way to enhance her running abilities and give her knees and joints a break. She was instantly addicted! She is excited to share her love of cycling with all of you, and assist each of you in meeting your individual fitness goals while inspiring you to push yourself each class! When she isn’t at the studio or working out she is most definitely spending time with her husband Scott, son Jackson and daughter Taylor.
What to Expect: During Christina’s class, she will push you to step out of your comfort zone and really challenge yourself for 45 minutes! She’ll keep you motivated by playing a wide variety of popular music that includes rock, pop, and hip-hop. Guaranteed to get you pumped up for an awesome ride!

The Facts: Deborah Kearns teaches Pilates, Yoga, and Cycling classes at H2L and as a Reiki Master Practitioner also offers private Reiki sessions. She is certified through Peak Pilates (mat and equipment), a 200RYT with Yoga Fit, a Schwinn Cycling Instructor, a certified TRX teacher, and has received Reiki training locally with Rickie Meryl Freedman, and in New York City and Asheville, NC with Allison Hayes.
Guilty Pleasure: Tootsie Rolls and Caramel Cream
The Facts: Emma Farinelli teaches Cycling, TRX, and Barre here at H2L Studio. She is certified in Schwinn cycling, TRX, and Barre Intensity.
Her History: She currently goes to Penn State and will graduate in 2021 with a business degree. Emma is very excited to take the training to become a Penn State fitness instructor this year. She has grown up going to group fitness classes and loves the energy, motivation, and variety that each class brings. There is always something new to try. She loves being on the “other side” and getting to teach the class and motivate others to get a good workout in.
What to Expect: During Emma’s classes you can expect to hear a variety of music.. maybe even a couple of country songs. She will motivate you to give it your all and leave with a good sweat.

The Facts: Erica Sehar teaches Barefoot and Cycling at H2L Studio. She has been in the fitness industry for 12+ years and is a certified ACE Fitness Group Exercise Instructor, certified Schwinn Indoor Cycling Instructor, and has taken numerous courses on barefoot exercise.
Her History: Originally performing on the small stage as a 3-year old ballerina, Erica grew up on stage and on the field hockey field. While attending Penn State University, she became hooked on group exercise classes at the White Building during her first semester – and the rest is history. Through the friendships she has made with fellow instructors that ALWAYS help her grow and learn, to the friendships that continue to grow with those that have taken her classes over the years, Erica longs to inspire you that your best self-has already arrived.
What to Expect: Whether it’s Barefoot or Cycling, you can look forward to hearing some of the hottest new songs mixed with the sickest remixes – so you can get lost in the music, sweat hard, breathe deep, and find yourself.

The Facts: Heather Empson teaches Barre and Cycle classes here at H2L Studio. She’s certified in the Barre Above Method, Schwinn Indoor Cycling, TRX, NCCPT (National Council for Certified Personal Trainers) and SCW Sports Nutrition
Her History: Heather has played sports her entire life and after playing basketball in College at West Chester she needed to do something to stay active. Heather had avidly practiced yoga since she was a Junior in High School and she fell in love with weight training during college. In 2012 she became a personal trainer while living in DC and always preached to her clients and herself that you have to switch it up! She encouraged them to try different classes, different types of cardio and not just stick with the same methods of exercise over and over again. Heather came to H2L when it first opened and took a Barre class with Courtney and fell in love. About a two years later she decided to get certified and wanted to be part of the studio she fell in love with. As part of “switching it up” about a year after getting certified in Barre she got certified in Cycling. When Heather isn’t working in Sales or teaching here, she is spending time with family and friends, hiking, going to concerts, always trying new food and traveling whenever she can!
What to Expect: During Heather’s class, you can expect to hear a variety of music from classic rock to rap music while incorporating more yoga and weight training.

The Facts: Kathie S. is a certified Mad Dogg Athletics cycling instructor. She works as a financial analyst and lives in Mechanicsburg with her husband, son, and puppy.
Her History: Kathie has been into fitness her entire life… not so good at sports, but loved fitness. She spent the first half of her adult life running. She has run 4 marathons, 50+ half-marathons, 15 ten-milers, and countless 10k/5ks. She found indoor cycling as a compliment to her running and fell in love. In 2015 she earned NASM certification as a personal trainer, AFFA group fitness instructor, and Mad Dogg Athletics instructor. Kathie has been teaching indoor cycling since June 2015.
What to Expect: Kathie loves a HIIT class. She will spike your heart rate into zone 4 and then bring you back to zone 1, all so you can go again. Her goal for every class is that you walk out healthier and happier then you walked in…and if hard workout doesn’t make you happy, her music selection will. Kathie loves to play a variety but favors popular 90’s (think Alanis not Backstreet).
Guilty Pleasure: Wine and cheese
The Facts: Lindsey Wirth teaches Barre, Cycling, and Cycle/Sculpt and is certified through Inline Barre, TRX Suspension Training and Schwinn Cycling.
Her History: Lindsey graduated from Messiah College in December 2017 with a degree in Music and Worship and a minor in Human Development and Family Science. Her love for fitness began in her junior year of high school where she developed a love for running and yoga. Although her days of running became less frequent as she experienced knee problems, she began attending H2L shortly after the studio opened and quickly fell in love with Barre, Barefoot, Cycling and Pilates. While she never thought she would become a fitness instructor, she is excited to share her passion for exercise and wellness with others. Each time she practices Barre or attends a cycling class she believes it is another opportunity to push herself, mind and body, more than the class before, and she hopes to empower others to do the same. She is also passionate about empowering others to feel confident and strong in the skin they are in.
When she is not teaching at H2L, she enjoys making music, practicing calligraphy, baking/cooking, and spending time with her husband, Mitch, and friends and family.
What to Expect: During Lindsey’s class, you can expect to hear a variety of new and upcoming songs and remixes, from a variety of genres – pop, dance/electronic, rock, and more! Each class offers a mix of hill climbs, tabatas, sprints, and distance challenges, all of which will keep your heart pumping and legs burning. She hopes after each class you will feel stronger than when you walked in.

Guilty Pleasure: Chick-Fil-A milkshakes and binging a good show on Netflix (preferably Grey’s Anatomy, Friends, or This is Us)
Her History: Her yoga practice has developed and grown over the past several years on and off the mat. With a transformed understanding of how to unite the body, breath and mind; she brings an enthusiastic energy to teaching and enjoys sharing the gift of yoga with others. She believes everyone could use a little yoga in their lives and that the benefits go far beyond time spent in the studio.
Yoga has been a part of her journey for many years… cycling, however, is a new adventure. Monica loves the balance between a good butt kicking cardio ride and building strength/flexibility through asanas (yoga poses). The Ying and Yang aspect of Cycling and Yoga keep her passionate about teaching both styles of the class.
Through teaching, she hopes to encourage others to celebrate their own personal journey and always be open to new discoveries. Monica enjoys reading, going out to eat and spending time outdoors with her husband and daughters.
What to Expect: In Monica’s classes, you can expect to hear a variety of music, from AC/DC to Michael Jackson or totally releasing with Trevor Hall in Savasana. There will be hill climbs, planks, upper body strengthening, warriors, sun salutations, breathless intervals, lots of energy and fun… certainly not packing that all into one style of class, so come out to Yoga and Cycling to get it all!

Guilty Pleasure: Oreos and reality T.V
The Facts: Myka is certified as an ACE group fitness instructor and teaches cycling, strength training, barre and TRX at H2L.
Her History: Myka started lifting with her mother, who was a professional bodybuilder when she was 17 years old. She developed a passion for weight training and decided to take it to the next level. Myka started competing in strongman competitions and was 2009 PAs strongest woman. She worked as an ACSM certified personal trainer until she had her 3 youngest children. Myka has used her knowledge of strength training to connect with other moms and fell in love with group fitness. She came to us and has brought her love of lifting with her!
What to Expect: Mykas cycle classes range from those power hills to speedy sprints! She likes to keep you guessing with her drills and will always challenge you with your resistance. Don’t be afraid of turning that dial! Music will be anything from the classic hits of those 70s action flicks all the way up to the bass pumping clubs hits of today. Bring your A game and expect to leave sweaty!!

The Facts: Sarah Arnold teaches Cycling classes here at H2L Studio. She’s certified in Schwinn Indoor Cycling, TRX Suspension Training and has her ACE Group Fitness Certification.
Her History: Sarah has been passionate about running for most of her life. Track&Field, Cross Country, 5Ks, half marathon training, you name it – she’s done it, or at least tried it. After experiencing her first couple of cycle classes a new passion was formed, and the links between cycling and running inspired her to become a certified instructor. Outside of teaching cycling classes, Sarah loves to do DIY projects, outdoor activities, and is a stay at home mother of her two children – Owen and Thea.
What to Expect: During Sarah’s classes, you can look forward to jamming out to the latest hits, yesterday’s classics, and remixes in between. Expect a relaxed yet challenging atmosphere, as she encourages you to dig deep and rise to your next level of fitness!

The Facts: Shea Regan teaches Cycling at H2L Studio
Her History: Shea graduated from Penn State University in 2017 with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Sociology. She was a fitness instructor for PSU Fitness where she also taught Boot Camp, Pilates and Yoga. Outside of fitness, Shea is going to Messiah College to get her Master’s in Counseling and hopes to become a Family, Marriage, and Couple therapist and live in a beach town.
What to Expect: Shea’s classes feature a variety of new dance/pop music, with the occasional “throwback” to boost the energy and momentum in the studio. Everyone loves songs they can sing along to.
