Come for a ride, leave with an experience.  Like no other studio in Central PA, H2L offers indoor cycling classes that will rock your mind, body, and soul.  The forty-five-minute fat-burning class allows you to explore your capabilities on the bike in a stunning space that stimulates your senses.

barre studioCycling:

Indoor cycling class of flats and hills, on a whole new level.  In every class, whether on the leaderboard or not, you will find yourself improving your fitness, feeling the beats of the music, and excelling from the energy in the room.  No matter where you are in life, know from the warm-up to the cool-down and everything in between, this ride was made for you!

Cycle+Sculpt:

Get ready for the ride of a lifetime, the perfect combination of toning, strengthening, and cardio! Join us for a new class at H2L Studio, a 50-minute combo class. Cycle+Sculpt is 30 minutes of the spin class you’ve grown to love followed by 20 minutes of toning exercises. This full-body fitness will be your favorite hour of the day!

Cycle+Bootcamp:

This class will combine indoor cycling with a Bootcamp-style workout to help you achieve the results you are looking for.  Indoor cycling provides an intense cardio workout, burning more calories than virtually any other exercise on the planet.  Bootcamp-style workouts help strengthen and define the muscles of the upper body, core, and lower body.  Together, these two exercises will burn the maximum calories, provide mind-clearing benefits, and strengthen and tone the muscles of the upper body, lower body, and most importantly the core muscles.  This class is designed for individuals looking to tone up and lose weight but is open to any and all athletes looking to push themselves to the next level in their fitness journey. Mats, towels, and weights were provided.  Learn more in our blog post about Cycle + Bootcamp.

Cycle+Core:

This class starts with 30 minutes in the cycle studio. You’ll climb hills, sprint and even do some interval training to music and instructors that keep you motivated and gets your heart rate up. After a great cardio workout, you’ll move out of the cycle studio for 15 minutes of strictly core movements. You’ll be planking, crunching (and so much more!) with props and without to work your entire midsection.

Cycle+TRX:

A combination of indoor cycling and TRX! We’ll start this class with 30 minutes of cardio on the bikes followed by 20 minutes of strength and balance training on the TRX Suspension Training system. We’ll use your body weight to help build strength on the suspension trainer. A perfect mix to accomplish the most in just 50 minutes.

“Why do I love H2L Cycle… H2L Cycle is the spin studio that this area was lacking. From the moment you walk in, you know this place means business. With the pristine bikes and the leader board that keeps you on track and competitive, you know it’s going to be a good ride. The staff and instructors are motivating, friendly, and aren’t afraid to break a sweat. As far as music, the song choices are always upbeat and give you that push you need to make it to the top of a climb or the end of a sprint. It’s hard not to love something this fun!”

Cycling FAQ

How much is a Cycle Class?
Cycle falls under the Group Class Packages. This means your first class is free. After that, you can get a single class for $15, a 5-pack of classes for $60 and a 10-pack for $110. The more you buy, the lower the price. Monthly Unlimited Members can enjoy Barre Classes and any other Group Fitness Class for just $105 a month. Students you are invited to enjoy class for just $10 each time. The packages you buy are good for a year, so you can use them when it works for you. The Monthly Unlimited Rate is an auto-renewing monthly membership but you can cancel at any time by emailing us.

What should I wear/bring?
You must have solid-sole sneakers or cycling shoes [Double Link with SPD and Triple Link Compatible]. Try to take layers off BEFORE class starts – you will get sweaty and tired and it’s easier to take your long-sleeve off before the ride starts.  We like to think our seats are comfy [after 2-3 rides], but bike shorts can help – no loose shorts/pants!  We have towels in the studio we provide for each rider but if you want to bring your own sweat towel from home, feel free.

It’s a good idea to bring some water as well! Actually, it’s a great idea… that’s why we bolded the statement. Bring water to cycling!

mechanicsburg cyclingWhat’s all the Power about?
Our bikes are equipped with MPower consoles that will display stats on your ride.  Seeing these numbers can help you set a pace, push your power, or stage an interval.  The same goes for the Leaderboard – while displaying your power, speed, and energy, you and your instructor will use the board to help you excel.  Not competitive?  Know you can enjoy the ride without being on the big screen as well while still having the luxury of stats on your personal bike. To gain access to your Leaderboard account, send us a message in the app, email or text us (717-897-6192) and we can give you access to Spivi, our leaderboard software so you can create your avatar, update your stats, or take yours off the board.

How do I set up my bike?
As much as you can, get to class 10 minutes early.  From there, the instructor will help you set up your bike for a safe and effective 45-minute ride.  Always make sure you feel comfortable on the bike. Ask for help when you need it. Once a month we try to offer Beginner Cycle Classes and we dive deeper into bike setup, if you can’t make it to one of those just make sure you come early so we can help.

Do I need Cycling Shoes?
No, sneakers are fine!

Which Door Should I Use?
The Cycling Studio is in Suite 105, so when you’re looking at our building, it’s the last door on the right. That door will have our cycling logo on it.  If for some reason it’s locked when you get there, come see us in Suite 103.

Wait, I’m not ready to be on the Leaderboard! Can I still come?
Of course! We have the Leaderboard set up as a tool. It’s there to push you and help you track your progress. We understand that some people don’t want to be on it! Reach out to us and we can provide you with a login you’ll use to edit your account with our Leaderboard software. Remember that not everyone pays attention to that, most people are only focusing on themselves, don’t be intimidated!

I never do cardio, can I still take a class?
That tells us that you need cycling classes in your life… cardio is so important and can make a big difference in your fitness routine! Yes, jump into any class you want! The beauty of the classes at H2L Studio, including spinning / cycling, is that you can make the class whatever you want it to be. Take the challenges the instructor offers you if you feel up to it! It’s a practice, remember that you can work up to higher numbers the more you attend!

Can we do Private Events in the Cycling Room?
Yes! Those are some of our favorite events. Looking for something to do for a fundraiser, birthday party, bachelor or bachelorette party idea in Harrisburg?  Cycling classes are the perfect way to bond as a group.. friends who sweats together, stay together!

We welcome you to schedule a private event, we can make the ride exactly what you want it to be, tailored to your favorite music or theme. Email info@h2lstudio.com to work out the details.
