The Facts: Charity Castner teaches yoga classes at H2L Studio. She’s certified in tradition Hatha Yoga.
Her History: After having her first child, she fell in love with yoga to help her relax, recharge, refocus and get mentally and physically prepared for being a mom. Charity has been certified since 2009 and teaching ever since. When she isn’t teaching, running around showing houses as a Realtor or chasing kids, you can find her reading, hanging out with family and friends or whipping something up in the kitchen.
What to Expect: During Charity’s gentle classes you will focus on your breathing and slowing down, learning to enjoy the moments of stillness and quiet. During her Vinyasa class, get ready to get that heart rate up and sweat a little.

The Facts: Deborah Kearns teaches Pilates, Yoga, and Cycling classes at H2L and as a Reiki Master Practitioner also offers private Reiki sessions. She is certified through Peak Pilates (mat and equipment), a 200RYT with Yoga Fit, a Schwinn Cycling Instructor, TRX certified trainer, and has received Reiki training locally with Rickie Meryl Freedman, and in New York City and Asheville, NC with Allison Hayes.
The Facts: Irene Clauser teaches Yoga classes here at H2L Studio. She received her 200-hour certification from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and is also certified in Child Light Yoga. She teaches vinyasa flow, yin, and restorative yoga.
Her History: Irene is a Penn State graduate and former Domestic Violence Counselor/Advocate who recently became a new mom. She first discovered yoga as a teenager and later became a dedicated student as a young adult. Her study of yoga initially began as a physical practice and later flourished into a study of yogic philosophy, spirituality, and the inner self.
What to Expect: During Irene’s class, you can expect to build some heat with a meditative flow while working on physical and mental strength and flexibility!

The Facts: Lissa Schubert teaches Yoga at H2L Studio. She’s a certified 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
Her History: Her yoga practice started back in college as her required gym course. She fell in love instantly and craved more. After finding a lot of classes unsatisfactory, she knew then she wanted to teach yoga and show that it wasn’t about what your body could do, but about what your mind could do as well. Over the last few years, yoga has evolved her both mentally and physically. Learning to unite breath with movement, slowing down, and connecting her to her true being is what yoga has taught her so far. She believes yoga is about creating space and awareness so that we can all open up and be a creative energy center for ourselves in all aspects of our lives.
What to expect in class: In Lissa’s Vinyasa yoga classes, you can expect a slow flow, but don’t let that fool you! You’ll strengthen, tone, balance, stretch, and flow all with some upbeat music, laughs, and overall welcoming energy.

Guilty Pleasure: Cake!
The Facts: Monica Foster teaches Yoga and Cycling here at H2L. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hours certified and is certified with Schwinn cycling, Barre Intensity and TRX suspension trainers.
Her History: Her yoga practice has developed and grown over the past several years on and off the mat. With a transformed understanding of how to unite the body, breath and mind; she brings an enthusiastic energy to teaching and enjoys sharing the gift of yoga with others. She believes everyone could use a little yoga in their lives and that the benefits go far beyond time spent in the studio.
Yoga has been a part of her journey for many years… cycling, however, is a new adventure. Monica loves the balance between a good butt kicking cardio ride and building strength/flexibility through asanas (yoga poses). The Ying and Yang aspect of Cycling and Yoga keep her passionate about teaching both styles of class.
Through teaching, she hopes to encourage others to celebrate their own personal journey and always be open to new discoveries. Monica enjoys reading, going out to eat and spending time outdoors with her husband and daughters.
What to Expect: In Monica’s classes, you can expect to hear a variety of music, from AC/DC to Michael Jackson or totally releasing with Trevor Hall in Savasana. There will be hill climbs, planks, upper body strengthening, warriors, sun salutations, breathless intervals, lots of energy and fun… certainly not packing that all into one style of class, so come out to Yoga and Cycling to get it all!

Guilty Pleasure: Oreos and reality T.V.
The Facts: Sarah Ballard teaches Yoga classes at H2L Studio. She’s a certified and registered 200-hr e-RYT, 500-hr RYT, and Certified Children’s Yoga Teacher.
Her History: Sarah stands by living a life full of joy, gratitude, and free of judgment. These feelings inform and guide Sarah’s teaching and practice, which is focused on helping her students better connect with themselves and with their surroundings.
What to Expect: During Sarah’s classes, you can expect to be positively challenged, abundantly supported, and more empowered by your own self-awareness and relationship with your body. She loves movement, music, effort, ease, and humor. Come to class ready to be moved + inspired.

Guilty Pleasure: Sleeping in (i.e. past 6 a.m.)
Her History: Susan went to Cumberland Valley HS and then Penn State Harrisburg for a degree in Humanities. Susan’s mom took her to her first yoga class when she was a teenager. Yoga was an on/off hobby until she started seeing yoga as a self-care practice. Eager to share the benefits of de-stressing and relaxation she found on the mat, Susan completed yoga teacher training at Om My Yoga Academy in Camp Hill in spring 2014.
What to Expect: Susan’s students love her calm presence and how she breaks down the Vinyasa flow of yoga poses in an easy, approachable way. Expect to feel relaxed and ready for your day after her Wednesday and Friday morning classes.

Guilty Pleasure: Wendy’s chicken nuggets. Growing up, Susan could walk to Wendy’s from her parents’ house. The habit stuck and she even requested a stop at Wendy’s between her wedding and reception!
