Meet Emma

indoor cyclingThe Facts: Emma Farinelli teaches Cycling, TRX, and Barre here at H2L Studio. She is certified in Schwinn cycling, TRX, and Barre Intensity.

Her History: She currently goes to Penn State and will graduate in 2021 with a business degree. Emma is very excited to take the training to become a Penn State fitness instructor this year. She has grown up going to group fitness classes and loves the energy, motivation, and variety that each class brings. There is always something new to try. She loves being on the “other side” and getting to teach the class and motivate others to get a good workout in. 

What to Expect: During Emma’s classes you can expect to hear a variety of music.. maybe even a couple country songs. She will motivate you to give it your all and leave with a good sweat.

Meet Mary

harrisburg cyclingThe Facts:  Mary Prendergast teaches Cycling and Cycling + Bootcamp class at H2L.  She’s certified in Schwinn indoor cycling and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.

Her History:  Mary is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana with a bachelor’s in Communications, Public Relations, and Marketing.  Mary’s love for fitness began at a young age when she picked up a love for Taebo and Kickboxing. Not much of a scholar-athlete, Mary tapped into her internal drive to push herself and become the best version of herself she could be through exercise and a love for nutrition.  Mary carried this passion with her into college and pursued a Personal Trainer certification to help instill that love of exercise in others who may need a little nudge or motivation.  After working in Washington, DC for 5 years, she moved to the area with her husband and two young sons and pursued a fitness career as a Personal Trainer and Schwinn certified cycling instructor at H2L; a career change that has been life-changing and truly gratifying on every level!
What to Expect: During Mary’s class, expect to get in the zone to work with everything you’ve got for those 45 minutes, leave feeling positive, focused and energized!

Meet Myka Mills


Head shot for Strength Training class teacherThe Facts: Myka is certified as an ACE group fitness instructor and teaches our strength training classes at H2L.

Her History: Myka started lifting with her mother, who was a professional bodybuilder when she was 17 years old. She developed a passion for weight training and decided to take it to the next level. Myka started competing in strongman competitions and was 2009 PAs strongest woman. She worked as an ACSM certified personal trainer until she had her 3 youngest children. Myka has used her knowledge of strength training to connect with other moms and fell in love with group fitness. She came to us and has brought her love of lifting with her!

What to Expect: Mykas classes are focused on functional strength movements at a quick pace. You will work your entire body and push yourself to grow stronger every time you pick up a dumbbell! Music choices range from classic rock to hip-hop and will keep you motivated to move!
