Finally, TRX training has been added to H2L’s schedule! We’re excited to introduce this type of suspension workout that’s sure to give you a good full body workout. Let’s take a look back at 1997 where it all began.
Randy Hetrick is responsible for creating and developing TRX training, or “total resistance” training. He was a member of the U.S. Navy Seal and was determined to discover a way to workout whenever equipment wasn’t available. So, he opened up his bag and grabbed his jujitsu belt, threw it over a door, and began using that suspension to get a better workout, without any equipment besides a belt!
From swinging a belt over a door, he wanted to turn it into something bigger. He began making and selling prototypes, made from higher quality materials. As it got more and more known, Randy created DVD’s to include with his TRX ropes. People got more interested and loved the idea of working out using the simplicity of suspension!
Within 21 years, it grew to what it is today. At H2L, TRX training is expected to get very popular! This type of workout is known to be great for just about anything, including mobility, core and joint stability, strength, coordination, flexibility, and muscle building. For runners, cyclists, and other athletes, TRX is a great idea. Here at H2L, we also offer beginner TRX classes. Enough facts, time to sign up for your TRX class today at H2L!
