Reformer Pilates can feel intimidating — especially when you see a full schedule with multiple levels, equipment, and class types.
Here’s the truth:
There is a place for everyone on the reformer, whether you’re brand new, returning after time off, or ready to level up.
With our expanded schedule and newly trained instructors, we’ve made it easier than ever to find the right fit for your body and experience level.
Let’s break it down 👇🏽
Reformer Basics
Best for:
- True beginners, anyone new to reformer, or those coming back after time away.
What to expect:
This class reviews the basics – springs, footbar, straps – and moves at a slow to moderate pace. We’ll build comfort, confidence, and body awareness while offering plenty of modifications and guidance so clients feel prepared to join any regular class.
Beginner Reformer
Best for:
- Those who are newer but ready to move a bit more.
What to expect:
You’ll still review springs and setup, but this is a traditional reformer-based workout with a steady pace, options for challenge, and room to modify as needed. Think “Level 1”: supportive, intentional, and approachable- just no jumpboard here.
Pilates Equipment
Best for:
- Clients comfortable with reformer fundamentals
- Those ready for more challenge and progression
What to expect:
A general, normal-paced reformer class where movement matches the breath and clients can explore both modifications and challenge layers. The jump board may be used as a toll, but this is not a full cardio class. Clients are encouraged to start with Basics or Beginner first, but this class comfortably sits between Level 1-2, with “Level 2” being when you start taking challenges offered.
Advanced Reformer
Best for:
- Experienced Pilates clients
- Strong body awareness and control
What to expect:
A true Level 2 Class with quicker pacing, layered progressions, and more complex movement patterns. Clients should have at least taken 8-10 Pilates classes and feel comfortable with the reformer setup, spring changes, and Pilates fundamentals before joining.
Jump Board Reformer
Best for:
- Anyone wanting low-impact cardio
- Clients who enjoy athletic movement
What to expect:
A heart-pumping workout that’s gentle on the joints. Think cardio + core without pounding your knees or back.
Chair Pilates
Best for:
- Clients wanting focused strength work
- Those looking to challenge balance and control
What to expect:
Smaller equipment, big results. Chair work builds deep strength, stability, and coordination.
Private 1:1 Reformer Sessions
Best for:
- Injuries or specific goals
- Beginners wanting personalized attention
- Anyone wanting faster progress
What to expect:
Fully customized sessions tailored to your body, needs, and goals. Ideal for learning proper form, addressing limitations, or advancing safely.
Not Sure What to Choose?
That’s normal — and expected.
Start where you feel supported, not pressured. Pilates is about consistency and quality of movement, not doing the hardest class the fastest.
If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help guide you to the right class.
Final Thought
Pilates meets you where you are — and grows with you.
