What is Energy Yoga?

We can’t believe May is already here! You may notice a few new classes added to the schedule here at H2L Studio. Now offered Wednesdays 6-7am is Energy Yoga. So, what is Energy Yoga exactly?

This will be a Vinyasa style class with the goal of building energy and power to start our day right. During this enthusiastic morning class we will warm up and build up our inner heat through sun salutations and energetic flows. Vinyasa means “breath synchronized movement “; by using the breath as we move through yoga poses we will work on increasing strength and flexibility. Vinyasa yoga can really turn into a moving meditation that naturally increases your energy.

There will be Warriors, Down Dogs and possibly a pushup or two…don’t be intimidated to come out and join us for “Energy Yoga” on Wednesdays. Sometimes we get so focused on what we can and can’t do physically, like “I’m not flexible ” or ” I can’t do a headstand” or “I’m not Yoga Mechanicsburggood enough to go to a studio” PLEASE let go of all expectations and let yoga be part of your journey. We will set positive intentions for class and focus on making yoga personal and uplifting for you. Excited to see you and share my practice with you.
