Open your Heart to Gratitude Flow – Wednesday, November 25th – Extended Class – 7:15 – 8:30pm (Special Themed Vinyasa Flow Class!)

With this flowing vinyasa practice, we  will move into a place of gratitude that takes you back to your roots. It will take you to a place that will ground and center your entire being so that you are able to open your heart to all that you are grateful for.

There are physical traits within us that we might know are alive inside us but we might have struggles trying to understand or express. These traits could be balance, trust, love, and gratitude. Utilizing yoga practice, we can find that those emotions start to open and are accessible.

This class will open with a gentle warm-up and awareness of the breath. Moving on from there will include meditative flowing Sun Salutations, Standing Postures and some active backbends that will allow us to open up the heart. Open up to gratitude, connect with Mother Earth and draw the energy up through our roots, into our hearts and out into the world.

We’ll end with some cooling down postures and transition into a guided meditation.

We’ll move slowly, but with control and strength to be able to soften those spaces around our heart center, open up our thoughts and minds to the gratitude that we all have inside us but might not always feel.

We’ll remove expectations of the perfect practice, of what yoga “should” look like, and replace them with thoughts and movements of self love and care.We’ll cultivate gratitude for who we are and all that we are.

Developing gratitude into our lives will allow deep inner peace and joy. It’s always there and it’s always active, but we need to actively look for it in our everyday lives.
